Conflict resolution
A certain level of conflict is required for effective group functioning and the kind of robust dialogue required for innovation and strong buy-in. Interpersonal conflict becomes a problem when there are ongoing communication issues between people in a team.

Conflicts arise when there is a perceived difference in opinion or when one party believes that another is preventing them from achieving a goal.
Tensions increase as each party tries to convince the other that their viewpoint is correct. Unresolved interpersonal conflict can affect the relationship between the parties involved reducing their effectiveness.
Often, without help from outside, this behaviour may lead to further conflict in the future.
We love to help resolve conflicts
We consult with individuals or teams to address the issues and have the tough conversations needed to heal upsets and move on. We understand how important it is for a charged issue to be resolved sensitively, for people to be reconciled and for business to proceed as usual.
We provide a consultation service to help your team avoid existing and future conflicts.
What will happen if you should choose us to facilitate your meeting? Our process will be as follows:
- We will listen to you talk about your needs.
- We will prepare a proposal detailing your desired objectives and a proposed agenda for the recommended sessions.
- We will engage in brief pre- meeting one-on-one interviews to build trust, to prepare participants for the session and to increase their capacity to engage in a fruitful group session.
- We will report on our findings from the interviews and adjust the proposed agenda as required
- We will facilitate the session(s).
- We will provide professional documentation of the session outputs.
- We will clarify any further recommendations we may have for you and/or your team.
Leading edge psychometric tools
We bring an impressive array of skills, experience and tested psychometric tools - like the Team Management Index - to help us quickly uncover the issues and explore the options. Participants often gain insight into how their own behaviour has had an impact on the conflict or how they have unwittingly sustained the conflict.
