One-to-One Interviews

Before beginning group sessions, each team member will be interviewed so that each person understands the purpose of the program and is motivated to engage in the process.

The Vision Workshop

This workshop delivers a clear, collaboratively created vision for high quality group dialogue that will enable the group to engage in World-Class Shared Decision Making interactions. This vision, with an associated 6 to 8 goals and associated action plans, will become the primary driver behind any subsequent sessions offered to the group.

Real-Time Group Coaching

This workshop includes one of our experienced consultants observing a normal team meeting and facilitating a 1 to 2 hour debrief of that meeting with the participants. The facilitator will assist the group to reflect on their shared decision making, especially relation to their agreed intentions as expressed in their WiSDM Vision Workshop. Real time coaching is provided to assist the group in achieving their vision through specific action plans.

The TMI workshop

The Team Management Index (TMI) workshop provides executive groups with a rich opportunity to explore their own and others preferences in regard to relating to others, extracting information, cognitive decision making and organizing resources. Through the insight created by honouring ones own and others work preferences, groups who engage in this workshop strengthen their ability to:

The Trust workshop

The Trust workshop utilizes the breakthrough trust model developed here in Australia by Vanessa Hall. The application of this model allows the group to clarify those practices in the group which are building or eroding trust. Participants are supported to explore their own expectations and needs in relation to the group and in doing so evaluate their specific and personal criteria for a "safe" environment.

The "Get-Robust" workshop

The "Get-Robust" workshop offers specific and practical tools to assist groups to engage in high quality advocacy and enquiry. Based on the enduring genius of Harvard academic Chris Argyris, these tools enable groups to respectfully enquire about the reasoning and assumptions behind statements made in group discussion. In addition, the group will increase their ability to advocate points of view in ways that genuinely invite others to test their thinking. This all means that previous "un-discussables" finally get on the table.

The Good Fight workshop

The most common problem with executive groups is not that they fight too much; it's that they avoid fights, or disagreements, at all. They tend to do this because they are concerned about strong disagreements becoming personal and hurtful. The Good Fight workshop enables groups to practice separating the various points of view on any particular issue, from the person who is voicing it. By doing this, groups can skilfully isolate the various "voices" attending any one issue, and allow a full exchange between those "voices". This practice facilitates unexplored issues get aired and the completed exchange between polarities provides new and breakthrough wisdom.
